Breast Party in Town Painted Town Pink

check presentation from The Pink Passion Party Committee
took place December 4th at Zampieri's Harbor Grille.
The Pink Passion Party was originally conceived by a
group of dedicated and concerned friends with a goal , to bring
needed medical care to underserved
women in our community.

The project grew and became the "Breast Party in
Town" raising $20,086.00! The Inaugural Pink Passion Party, hosted
at Zampieri's Harbor Grille, October 19th benefited the Suzy Fund in
cooperation with The Sacred Heart Foundation on October 19th. The
check presentation was celebrated at the Destin Chamber of Commerce
Holiday Party on December 4th. "The Suzy
Fund will provide early detection through mammograms and education
to assist underserved women in our community and we are truly
humbled by the sheer generosity of our local businesses" explained
Brenda Zampieri, co-owner of Zampieri's Harbor Grille.
"I am elated that I have the opportunity to take my own experience
in fighting breast cancer and turn it into something positive. I
will continue to be passionate and active in raising funds to help
educate and assist women who may be affected by this disease", Suzy
Nicholson-Hunt, General Sales Manager of Qantum Communications,
breast cancer survivor and women's health advocate.
On hand to accept the check were Roger Hall,
President of Sacred Heart Hospital Emerald Coast; Dr and Mrs Charles
Stroble, Radiolist; and Sheryl Johnston, Development Coordinator
with Sacred Heart Foundation.
